Marianne and Tanya Scott began working together in 1999 when they opened Habitat Home and Garden; a high end home furnishing and garden store in Sonoma County. Here they developed long standing relationships with local artisans and craftsmen and became passionate about home furnishings and accessories. After several years of being recruited by their customers for interior design work they launched Scott Design Group.
SDG offers an eclectic style of high end furnishings and accessories from contemporary to traditional. They have hand selected their line from reputable furniture makers from around the world. In order to keep their inventory fresh and interesting they make annual buying trips around the country, and have recently included both Paris and Avignon. These trips have infused their inventory with one of a kind art pieces and antiques giving their staged homes a competitive edge and interior design clients a tremendous selection.
Lindsay Scott joined SDG after eight years as a floral designer and a year spent studying art and French in Paris. Lindsay has owned and operated Rose-Hip Flowers, a wedding and special events floral company, since 2001. Staging my home really worked! My house had languished on the market for three months before I hired Scott Design Group. Their expertise in home design transformed my house into a visual delight that inspired multiple offers resulting in a sale in less than one week. Thank you for your professionalism and care.

Marianne, Tanya and Lindsay were incredibly professional while being so easy to work with. They gave us an in-depth consultation on every area of our house down to paint colors and plantings. Once the construction piece was complete they came in and staged the house so beautifully that we really were beginning to reconsider selling it! We cannot recommend them highly enough!
